QHSSE Manager

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the complete QHSSE function:
• Manages personnel, stimulates, informs, communicates, guides, corrects, and reports on QHSSE related matters – independently from the directors;
• Monitors and advices internal and external stakeholders and (sub)contractors on compliance with company and industry standards;
• Management and supervision of ISO 9001 certification and quality management system.
• Functions as the safety manager oand responsible for maintaining an effective safety management system, including:
• Implementation and monitoring of BRZO locations;
• Performing and supporting company audits by external parties;
• Performing and supporting internal audits;
• Performing and supporting risk assessments such as HAZID/HAZOP/RIE (risk assessment and evaluation);
• Advices on environmental and maritime permitting for projects and operations.
• Identifying internal and external developments that could have an impact on the continuity of the company;
• Performs or delegates the following in relation to the primary process:
• Monitors compliance with established environmental and safety requirements in the daily operations;
• Manages incident investigations;
• Advices on approved subcontractors for performing transport/delivery;
• Monitors and evaluates new and current suppliers;
• Maintains contact with the (approved) suppliers for QHSSE related services.

• Holds a Master degree in Engineering (an additional degree related to SHEQ, like HVK, is a strong plus)
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably (not mandatory!) in the offshore and/or marine industry, civil, Oil & Gas or Renewables;
• Experience with QHSSE Management Systems and QHSSE Auditing Techniques;
• Strong Dutch and English communicative skills;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Preferably experienced in maritime and/or environmental permitting;
• Experience in working in multidisciplinary teams;
• Certified auditor on VBS elements and ISO9001 standards.
